Delivering Hope to Black River 🇯🇲

Following the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa, GEM Caribbean teams were among the first on the ground, delivering bulk relief supplies into Black River alongside the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM).

Youths Inspiring Positive Change JA (YIPC) proudly mobilised and coordinated volunteers for the last-mile distribution, managing setup and ensuring supplies reached the hands of affected families and communities.

This is what partnership in action looks like: rapid response, local coordination, and community-driven delivery.
